Weapons Rules & Guides
Welcome to Whiskey Rock, a vibrant roleplay community where stories thrive on creativity and collaboration. To ensure a safe, engaging, and balanced environment for all players, we’ve implemented a Weapons Policy that outlines the appropriate use of weapons within our roleplay setting. Please read this page carefully to understand what is permitted and what requires prior approval.

General Policy
Weapons are permitted in Whiskey Rock roleplay as long as they are reasonable for the setting and do not fall under the category of Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMDs).
Players may incorporate firearms, blades, and other standard weapons into their character’s storylines without prior approval. However, certain weapons or destructive devices require admin clearance before being used in any scenes to maintain balance and fairness in the roleplay environment.
Failure to adhere to these policies may result in probation or removal from the community.

Guidelines for Weapon Use in Roleplay
-
Realism First: Ensure your character’s weaponry aligns with their background, role, and the setting. For example, a student or civilian would not realistically have access to military-grade weapons.
-
Consent is Key: Discuss any weapon-related conflict or violence with other players involved in your scene beforehand. All parties should agree to the potential outcomes.
-
No WMDs: Weapons of mass destruction or anything that could harm an entire community or setting are strictly prohibited without prior admin approval.
-
Keep it Balanced: Weapons should not make your character overpowered. Remember, roleplay is about collaboration, not competition.
Failure to Comply
Failure to follow the Weapons Policy may result in the following disciplinary actions:
-
Probation: Temporary restrictions on your participation in community events or storylines.
-
Banning: Permanent removal from the Whiskey Rock community if the violation is severe or repeated.
Admins reserve the right to address any violations at their discretion to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all players.
Need Approval or Have Questions?
If you wish to use a restricted weapon in a scene or have questions about the policy, please contact an admin before proceeding. We’re here to help and ensure your storyline fits seamlessly into the community.

By adhering to these guidelines, you help keep Whiskey Rock a fair and exciting place for all roleplayers. Thank you for your cooperation!
